Some rad tutorials

Thu Feb 5, 2009, 6:20 PM
My loverly friend :iconebonfire: told me today she liked my digital art.

I thought about all the rad tutorials that taught me some of the cooler tricks I know.

I am going to share them whether you want me to or not. >:D

All Over Tutorials

[link] A nice one about everything from perspective and hair to the folds in clothing.

[link] This one is by :iconcoelasquid: and is... as titled, all sorts of crap. Though its not crap, its awesome.

Anatomy

[link] All about the hands, this one is one thats helped me come a long way. My hands still need a lot of work, but this is a great one. :iconjoodlez:

[link] AAANNNDD this one is by :iconmakani:, one of my alltime favorite artists ever. All about faces and expressions.

Pretty Colors

[link] A massive favorite of mine, this one does a lot of technical stuff about coloring, how to get the look you want, and just oodles of great color knowledge.

[link] A cool digital painting/coloring.

[link] Also by :iconmakani: , this is how to make pretty glowy effects.

What good tutorials do you all know?

Commission Information

Tue Nov 18, 2008, 5:57 PM
So I'm finally doing commissions!

I'm broke, I hate my job and am considering quitting, and I need money for college, art supplies, and other teenage shenanigans!

(For now they're all going to be IRL mediums unless you specify otherwise.)

Sketch-

Usually quite in depth, probably get more than one as I'm trying to figure out pose and the general feel for what should be drawn. Sadly I don't have many samples of what I'm talking about, but I assure you its not bad.

5-10$, depending on what you want.

Lineart/black and white-

This will be lined and black/white versions of the sketch.

10-15$, also dependent on what you want.

Colored Lineart-

This will be colored in watercolor, digitally, prismacolor markers, what you specify.

15-25$, depending.

More than one figure?

You can then more or less assume its going to be on the higher end of each price, unless its chibi, or chibiesque.

I'm so interested, but how do I pay!?

Well my lovelies, I would prefer cash in the mail to which I can provide an address, but if you absolutely can't do that then you can explain paypal to me and I'll set up an account. c:

Comish?

Tue Sep 16, 2008, 6:46 PM
So... if I did commissions, would anyone buy them?

I'd probably have to be paid in cash because I don't have a paypal or anything, and wouldn't know how to use it if I did.

But yeah.

Please tell me if anyone would ever want anything drawn by me for (gasp!) money.

I'm debating doing thing for some extra money, as I'm trying to round up a group of people to go to AAC, or Another Anime Con and will inevitably need money.

Yesno?
